Sunset Showstopper Pleated Hood are perfect for horses that suffer from mane rub
Made from the same top quality Australian made summer weight canvas as our other paddock rugs but with this large fully satin lined pleated section over the mane.
The pleats will expand with movement, helping to stop any friction that causes mane rub.
The pleated section is fully satin lined so it is lovely and smooth against your horses mane.
The ties that hang down from the hood are thread through the 2 loops in-between the chest fittings on the rug, just thread through and tie them together, they help stop any sideways movement of the hood.
Please make sure you do the middle connecting strap on the hood up firm so that when their head is down it helps spread the pleated are over the mane.
The hood needs to be fitted correctly for it to stop mane rub!
